Television Stand for Recessed Alcove
To host a 42" LCD HDTV, fit to a recessed alcove with 52" width x 28" depth. In the showroom, the customer found a two-tone matte finish piece they liked and itserved as base for the look of the custom design. Wilson sketched the design and later, CAD rendered the blueprint for approval. Four months later, the piece was delivered to the customers Moraga, California, home, as pictured below.
Above: Initial attraction was strong to this nightstand, the customer liked the motif-free modernity and two tone finish.
By placing a deposit, the design process began immediately with preliminary drawing made while customerswere in store.
Below: From the drawing, a CAD rendering was created, signed off by customers via email, then the workshop construction and tooling began; build time, 45 days.
